LOT J Town Hall Meeting

City Council Finance Chair Matt Carlucci and Vice-Chair Randy DeFoor are seeking public comment on the proposed Lot J development during a town hall meeting from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, October 29. According to news reports, the public dollar investment in Lot J will be the largest single investment the people have made.

The public may observe the town hall meeting by zoom (see notice). People may express their opinions to individual city council members via phone or email.

The agenda calls for a 15 minute presentation by the Jaguars, followed by “civil” public comment.

Florida Times-Union news and opinion writers, and well as recent letters to the TU, have been scrutinizing the financial deal recently announced by Mayor Lenny Curry.

  • After your J Lot notification a couple of weeks ago, I emailed Matt voicing my concerns. He messaged me saying he had to investigate the situation more.
