The City Council Committee of the Whole, which has been studying the Lot J deal, will meet tomorrow, Thursday, January 7, beginning at 10 a.m. with no ending time. The Committee is expected to discuss a recommendation to move the Lot J bill, Ordinance 2020-648 (https://jaxcityc.legistar.com/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=4675362&GUID=4E5AE297-2D76-4510-B8AF-15597C80425E&Options=ID|Text|&Search=2020-0648) from consideration by the Committee of the Whole to consideration by the full City Council at its next meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Ten votes are needed to move the Lot J bill to the full City Council, where 13 votes are necessary to approve the bill.
The Committee will hear comments from the public, which may be made virtually. Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes.
